Voltage Records is an independent recording company, established in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK in 1988.
The idea behind the label is to give a helping hand to self-financing, unsigned bands in the UK and act as a stepping-stone to greater things.
Over the years we have released products from a selection of British acts including: Ghost Dance, Marmozets, Ironrat, Idiotbox, The Sneakypeeks, The Downfall, 10,000 Things, Worm, Harlequyn, Demob, Yo el Rey.
Voltage has also ventured further afield with contributions on compilations from several European and US bands, featuring well known artists such as Chuck Treece (Bad Brains), Stevo (Fun Lovin' Criminals) & Arthur Baker.
